Nanaimo is home to the Artificial Reefs, Saskatchewan, Cape Breton and Rivtow Lion. This area offers a wide variety of diving experiences such as wrecks, walls and shallow reefs. Snake Island, a popular dive site, is close by. There, you can view Cloud Sponge and Plumose Anemone along a wall that offers everything for beginners and experienced divers alike. An all time favourite is the chance to dive or snorkel with the seals as they come up to greet you by nibbling on your fins. If you're lucky, you may see a pod of transient killer whales that sometimes pass by on their way further north.

Captain Dan will pilot the Sea Dragon, formally of Howe Sound, and will cater to individuals or groups. All levels of diving are welcome, from new Open Water Certified divers to Instructor. Don’t worry if you don’t have a dive buddy, we can arrange a buddy for you based on experience or have one of our staff of experienced Dive masters dive with you.
